Attorney Michael Pisanchyn Jr. has built a career around the desire to help others.
Mike started his career at a chrome plating company. He befriended a coworker while there only to sadly lose his friend due to poor working conditions. His passion to give a voice to common laborers was born. This experience made him realize that the law is something that can make the difference between life and death for working people.
Attorney Pisanchyn obtained his law degree and opened the Pisanchyn Law Firm. The Pisanchyn Law Firm provides legal representation to victims of: catastrophic injuries, automobile collisions, tractor trailer collisions, motorcycle collisions, medical malpractice, birth injuries, brain injuries, fatal injuries, animal bites, slips, trips, and falls, worker’s compensation, oil and gas drilling injuries, social security disability and benefits, and criminal law.
A few years ago, through his work as a personal injury attorney, he came to know a very special family and individual who had a lasting impact. Band-Aids Inc. was founded to honor the memory of Barbara Maines.
At a concert, Attorney Michael Pisanchyn noticed a young girl who reminded him of “Barbie.”
“As soon as the band started this young girl lit up and began dancing along. Her mother told us how much she loved music and how she really came to life when she heard this band. It reminded me even more of Barbie. Everyone that met her shared what a love she had for music; country music especially.”
It was then Attorney Pisanchyn realized how little accessibility disabled and special needs individuals have at these events. Band-Aids aims to provide those with special needs access to their favorite bands and musicians, up close and personal.
Not all concert venues accommodate wheelchairs and handicap attendees to the best of their abilities. Very few venues have a row dedicated for handicap attendees very close to the stage. To help remedy this Band-aids will purchase VIP tickets for selected special needs concert goers. In addition, the charity will supply them with $200 dollars to spend on merchandise and/or food and will initiate a meet and greet if the band/performer is willing.
We invite you to contact to us at info@band-aids.org for more information.
Your generous, tax deductible donation to Band-Aids enables us to provide this VIP opportunity to disabled and special needs individuals. 100% of your donation will go directly towards the cost of these events. Our VIP’s receive at a minimum 1) back stage passes, 2) pictures with the band (if applicable*), 3) front row tickets, and 4) $200 to spend at the concert.
